New to scripting: trying to set composer as albumartist

I’m setting up a separate Plex library for classical music per composer.
Plex is very limited in the tags it can handle, so to achieve this, I have to set the albumartist to the composer. And the track artist to the performer

I don’t succeed in doing this.
I try this

$set(albumartist,%composer%)
$set(artist,%performer%)

But it doesn’t do anything.
