Why is MB Picard pulling up vinyl metadata and album art by default vs the CD release?

when I drag an album (copied to my pc from a CD) into musicbrainz picard it pulls up the metadata and album art from Vinyl rather than the CD release.
Is there a way to force picard to show “CD” metadata rather than from vinyl so all the songs are tagged correctly??
